Practice expectations

  • Players are expected to contact their head coach or assistant coach in advance if they are to miss practice.
  • It is the players’ responsibility to report any injuries or any suspected injuries to any of the coaches PROMPTLY. 
  • Players are expected to be ready to go at the designated practice start time.
  • Practice like you play – coaches expect players to practice at game pace unless instructed otherwise.
  • Be coachable – be willing and open to hear and apply coaches feedback.  If you do not agree with the feedback, respectfully state your case. 
  • It is the players’ responsibility to ask questions.  Coaches will do their best to answer questions on the spot or at the next best opportunity.
  • Players’ are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct and own up to it when they do not.
  • Players are expected to show up for practice with all appropriate playing gear including all personal protective gear. 
  • Equipment will break – players are expected to check ALL of their equipment BEFORE practice.  IF something breaks during practice, step off the field and fix it.  BRING A SECOND STICK.
  • Any player not wearing a mouth guard will not be permitted to practice.

Game Expectations

  • Players are asked to arrive 45 minutes before our FIRST GAME; 30 minutes prior to game start.  IN ALL CASES geared up and ready to play.
  • Playing time will not be equal HOWEVER the coaching staff will do it’s best to allocate playing time equally. 
  • Any player not wearing a mouth guard or any other required equipment will not be permitted to play as per the Rules of Lacrosse.
  • Players’ are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct and own up to it when they do not.
